Learn MoreBamboo is a digital investment platform founded in Lagos, Nigeria, in 2019 with a simple goal to enable Africans to help Africans dream, invest and live by investing in anything from anywhere and earning real returns.
Today, Bamboo enables more than 2.3 million investors across Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, and Ghana to invest in global and local asset classes, like U.S. stocks, Nigerian stocks, savings products, and Treasury Bills.

Bamboo was co-founded in 2019 by Richmond Bassey and Yanmo Omorogbe with a simple idea: investing in global markets shouldn't require a foreign bank account, a broker with a minimum-deposit requirement, or paperwork most first-time investors find intimidating.
Bamboo started by giving Nigerians a way to buy fractional shares of U.S. companies from their phone, and has since expanded into Nigerian stocks, savings, treasury bills, and dollar-denominated fixed income, with a growing footprint across Ghana, South Africa, and the diaspora.
